Water a precious gift

Important notes

•       When dark clouds are seen in the sky, we assume that it will rain.
•       When thunderstorm and lightening seen in the sky, we assume that it will rain.
•       When rainwater gets soaked into the soil, it may slowly flow under the soil to join a stream or a pond.
•       Some of the water gets stored under the ground between the rocks and the soil.
•       The water in our wells comes from the underground water.
•       In some places we store water in containers or vessels.

      

•       We use water for drinking and cleaning but after this we cannot use this dirty water for drinking and cooking.
•       We can use the dirty water for watering the plants and flushing the toilets.
•       We follow the 2R rules for the conservation of water i.e., Reuse and Reduce.
•       We should not use too much soap or detergents and chemicals in water.
•       Water is considered sacred because it is absolutely essential for our survival.
