Do with all your might;
Things done by halves,
Are never done right.


One thing at a time,
And that done well;
Is a very good rule,
As many can tell.

Moments should never
Be trifled away;
So, work while you work,
And play while you play.






A. Answer the following :
1. Why is it important to focus on doing one thing at a time?
Ans: - It is important to focus on doing one thing at a time because we can give full attention to one task, we can finish it quickly and correctly.
2. Make a list of words that rhyme in the poem ' one thing at a time'.
Ans:-  The words are as follows: -
  •             Happy and Way
  •             might and Right
  •             well and tell
  •             away and play
3. How do you feel after finishing a task that you have done well?
Ans: - After finishing a task that I have done well boost my confiendence. I feel relaxed, happy and proud.
4. What are some of the things you do every day that help you stay calm and focused?
Ans:- The things I do everyday that help me to stay calm and focused are as follows:-
  • Regular morning exercise.
  • Adequate amount of sleep.
  • Sharing my ideas and opinion with my elders and friends.
  • Completion of work on time.
  • Doing one thing at a time.
