Food we eat Class:- III (EVS) Important notes We eat many different things in our daily life like sweet, spicy, salty We should always eat food cooked at home like rice, jowar, wheat, pulses and nuts. We should follow the balanced diet in our daily life to stay healthy. We eat kulfi, or ice-cream and drink tender coconut water in summer and we enjoy hot drinks and soup in winter. We should drink plenty of water and we cannot live without water. That’s why we often say, “water is life”. We also get some food from animals like milk, curd, ghee, cheese, paneer, honey, eggs and meat. Two of our most commonly used ingredients are neither obtained from plants nor from animals are salt and water.
